We received an inquiry from our customer, Company S, which produces herbicides and pesticides, stating, "Due to handling toxic products, we ensure that protective gear such as gas masks and gloves are worn during filter cloth replacement and cleaning. However, there is a high risk to the field operators. The characteristics of the product cause the filter cloth to clog easily, necessitating regular replacements, and we want to improve the situation where operators are exposed to danger from toxic products." In response, we proposed an electronic beam screen (metal filter) that eliminates the need for filter cloth replacement, and they adopted it. As a result of using our machine equipped with the electronic beam screen, the need for filter cloth replacement was eliminated, reducing the risk of poisoning for operators. This also led to a reduction in the labor involved in filter cloth replacement and cleaning, as well as the running costs associated with filter cloths.

【POINT】Protecting the health and safety of operators ■ Electron Beam Screen Specifications - The electron beam screen is designed with tapered holes (filtration area approximately 100μm) in a thin 0.5mm plate, and the holes expand towards the discharge side, making it less prone to clogging. - The basket is machined and finished to enhance roundness and minimize runout, allowing for a reduction of the residual cake layer to a maximum of 5mm after cake scraping. (In the case of filter cloth, it is more than 10mm.) This minimizes filtration obstruction due to residual cake and improves the filtration efficiency for the next cycle. - By reducing the thickness of the residual cake layer, the amount collected in one cycle increases. - Cleaning can be performed without removing the electron beam screen, eliminating the need for screen replacement for an extended period. This contributes to reduced working time and improved hygiene and safety for workers. It is also possible to remove and clean the electron beam screen as needed.
