Automatic sample combustion device for ion chromatography pre-treatment (old type)
A system that can easily measure trace impurities such as halogens and sulfur contained in various organic compounds.
- Integration of pretreatment (combustion and absorption) with ion chromatography through a partnership with Dionex Corporation. - Anyone can easily operate it by simply setting the combustion and absorption conditions. - No special operations, like those required in conventional methods (oxygen bomb method, flask combustion method), are necessary.
basic information
The quantification of trace halogens and sulfur contained in various organic compounds has been considered difficult. In particular, pretreatment methods such as the bomb method and flask combustion require skilled techniques, and in fields where sensitivity and resolution are demanded, there has been a need for methods that are simple yet accurate. Our company has newly released a system that utilizes proven decomposition and combustion technology to combust and absorb organic compounds, followed by direct injection into an ion chromatograph, allowing for easy measurement of these impurities. There is also a sister product, the organic elemental analysis system.
