    The beginning of manufacturing starts with material selection. In addition to applications, specifications, processing conditions, and finishing accuracy, we listen to our customers' challenges and concerns to consider the best methods and quickly provide the optimal materials. What makes this possible is our expertise as a specialized trading company in special steel for half a century and our strong network with suppliers.

  • Mold design and manufacturing(4)

    We carry out everything from product development to production consistently, achieving both high precision and high-quality manufacturing along with short delivery times. We excel in process design that includes not only the design of individual molds but also product design associated with our customers' new product development, manufacturing analysis, and trials. Our deep understanding of materials and consistent support from product development to production enable short delivery times. Additionally, our processing environment, which is temperature-controlled 24 hours a day to achieve ±1/1000mm precision, allows us to deliver high-precision, high-value molds with stable quality.

  • Reverse engineering(3)

    Even without drawings, it is possible to create replicas with the same precision. As a mold manufacturer, we were quick to adopt reverse engineering. This allows us to replicate molds and tools that do not have any remaining drawings, as long as we have the actual item, with the same level of precision.

  • Welding(1)

    Realizing the regeneration and reuse of molds with wear and chipping. By repairing broken molds using welding technology, we enable regeneration and reuse.

  • Meitoku LABO(1)

    A Mateku LABO has been established to conduct scientific research and analysis on materials. Nagoya Special Steel opened the LABO in 2020, creating a system that allows for various investigations and analyses within the company. The LABO is equipped with facilities for various experiments, including surface observation, internal observation, and component analysis of molds and products using a scanning electron microscope, as well as material property testing with universal testing machines. This not only enables us to respond to customer needs more broadly and in detail, but also allows us to provide quicker responses to requests that were previously outsourced to external specialized institutions.
