Fundamentals of Electrochemical Analysis Part 2 [Technical Document]
This is the second technical booklet explaining the basics of voltammetry, CVS, and polarography, which are essential for trace metal analysis in solutions and the analysis of plating solutions!
basic information
Stripping voltammetry is the most effective electrochemical measurement method for trace analysis and qualitative analysis. Before analysis, the target substance is concentrated (using the composite method), and both the concentration and measurement proceed through electrochemically controllable processes, making it highly sensitive and selective. Compared to conventional polarographic measurements, measurements using stripping voltammetry are generally 10³ to 10⁵ times more sensitive, resulting in detection limits of 10⁻⁹ to 10⁻¹¹ mol/L, and in some cases, it can reach 10⁻¹² mol/L.
