Ion chromatography is undoubtedly one of the analytical methods. So, what is the purpose of conducting analysis? I believe that analyzing means "finding a solution to a problem from the sample in question." Even if we can identify the target substance in the sample using some method, that alone does not constitute analysis. We must correctly understand the results obtained, statistically analyze them, and draw inferences that lead to causes or solutions to problems. This requires not only proficiency in operating instruments and knowledge of analytical chemistry but also a broad understanding of chemistry in general, as well as engineering and natural sciences. "Measuring" is just the first step toward problem-solving. However, we cannot simply keep measuring. We must properly analyze the measurement data and derive accurate results based on facts.
