Near Infrared Analyzer Technical Data 26 Agriculture Moisture in fertilizers is one of the most commonly measured parameters. Globally, regulations regarding different fertilizers vary, but local legal restrictions must not exceed the maximum moisture content. Various analytical techniques can be used for this moisture measurement. Following the gravimetric method, the Karl Fischer moisture meter is commonly used for accurate moisture measurement. Compared to these methods, near-infrared spectroscopy has unique advantages. It does not use chemical reagents and provides reliable results in just a few seconds. This application note introduces the analysis of moisture content in various fertilizer products using a near-infrared analyzer that allows for rapid and reagent-free analysis.
