We would like to introduce an improvement case of a gap width inspection jig used in the inspection process of a resin molding manufacturer. The issue was that the gap gauge did not move smoothly, resulting in poor workability. To address this, we attached a gauge holder with the gap gauge to a sliding operation type dovetail stage. This allowed for smooth sliding directly downward, improving workability.
