Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery will be exhibiting at MF-TOKYO 2025. MF-TOKYO is an international exhibition for forging machinery (presses, sheet metal, forming, automation, and peripheral equipment). The event will take place from July 16 (Wednesday) to July 19 (Saturday). This year, it will be held on the largest scale ever, so we hope you will come and visit! The Isahaya Second Factory has started operations.
In October, our company began operations at the Isahaya Second Factory in Isahaya City, Nagasaki Prefecture. The factory primarily manufactures small to medium-sized canned products. Additionally, Maruchu Sangyo Co., Ltd., which is part of our group, is located adjacent to the factory, and we will work to improve productivity through strengthened collaboration and information sharing.

A demonstration machine for color sorting has been installed at the Isahaya Magnetic Selection Machine Factory.
In April, we installed a demonstration unit of our new color sorting line at the magnetic separator factory in Isahaya. The color sorter is a device that identifies the color of raw materials and sorts them using air jets. By combining it with our magnetic separator, we can establish a metal sorting line. Additionally, the color sorter can handle various sorting applications beyond just metal sorting by identifying and separating colors, making it possible to address industrial waste such as circuit boards and plastics.

Manufacture and shipment of 100㎥ electric hydraulic bucket shell.
In July, the delivery of the 100㎥ electric hydraulic bucket shell for dredging was completed. This product is a replacement part installed on dredging work vessels operating overseas, designed to be used in harsh conditions of 20 hours a day, 365 days a year, utilizing high-tensile steel and wear-resistant steel plates to enhance durability.

Awarded the Defense Infrastructure Development Association Prize
In November, our company received the "Defense Infrastructure Development Association Award." The award recognizes the development of "grain refinement technology for bulletproof steel plates," which has achieved improved ballistic resistance and weight reduction compared to conventional bulletproof steel plates. Based on this award, we are determined to continue striving for greater heights in the defense equipment business.

Exhibited at the Anti-Terrorism Special Equipment Exhibition '19
Our company exhibited at the Counter-Terrorism Special Equipment Exhibition held at Tokyo Big Sight in October. This marks our seventh consecutive year of participation in the exhibition. We were able to showcase the performance of our bulletproof steel plates, gain ideas for our products, and the exhibition led to new projects and product development.

Exhibited at MF-TOKYO 2019
Our company also exhibited at MF-TOKYO 2019, which was held over four days at the end of July. In this exhibition, in addition to showcasing actual products of various ring shapes rolled on our ring mill demonstration machine, we introduced vibration-damping devices, forging presses and manipulators, ring mills, and our in-house ring mill testing machines through panels and promotional videos, attracting the interest of many visitors.

Exhibition of our non-ferrous metal sorting machine at the China Environmental Expo.
In April, our company promoted our magnetic separator at the 20th China Environmental Expo held in China. This expo is the largest in Asia, with approximately 2,000 companies exhibiting from around the world. For this exhibition, we displayed a working model of our non-ferrous metal separator and conducted sample separation demonstrations to promote the performance of this equipment. We plan to participate in next year's exhibition as well, and in addition to the non-ferrous metal separator, we are planning to set up a demonstration unit of our highly regarded stainless steel separator in Japan for promotion.

Manufactured and shipped four units of three types of buffer tanks.
In September, we shipped four buffer tanks of three types to a thermal power generation equipment manufacturer. Our technological capabilities and production track record were recognized, leading to this order. The pressure vessel category is the foundation of our manufacturing technology, and we will continue to strive for the transmission of our technology in the future.

Manufactured and shipped a 400T C-type press for domestic shipyards.
In March, our company delivered a 400-ton C-type press to a domestic shipyard. The press delivered this time will be used for bending plates of structural components for the hull. A feature of this press is the adoption of the latest hydraulic system called hybrid hydraulic, which allows for high-precision control of pressure and flow rate.

Start of operation for one of the largest large-scale turning facilities in Western Japan.
In April, our company established a large turning machine within the factory. The maximum processing diameter is Φ10m, the table diameter is Φ8m, and the maximum load capacity is 200T, allowing us to accommodate even larger processed items. It is characterized by having six types of attachments. We intend to leverage the strengths of this one of the largest facilities in western Japan to pursue new project opportunities.

Manufactured and shipped two deck tanks for the shipyard.
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery Works shipped two types of deck tanks to the shipyard in March. These deck tanks are primarily used for storing and transporting liquefied ammonia, liquefied petroleum gas, and other substances. Our company will continue to strive to manufacture high-quality products in ship-related equipment and other products.

Assembly and delivery of large multi-doors.
In November, we delivered two large multi-doors to domestic nuclear power plants. Unlike the watertight doors we have manufactured so far, this multi-door features specifications that combine watertightness, fire resistance, and tornado protection.

Shipping steel ladle cars for steel manufacturers.
In June, we shipped a ladle receiving steel cart for a steel manufacturer. The external dimensions of the cart are 11,500 mm × 8,200 mm × height 2,380 mm, and the total weight is 135 tons, making it one of the largest products in our record for carts used to transport molten iron.

Manufactured and delivered RH lower vessel for steel manufacturers.
In March, our company manufactured and delivered the RH (vacuum degassing equipment) lower vessel to a steel manufacturer. The vacuum degassing equipment is used to remove gas components such as hydrogen from molten steel in order to produce high-quality steel.

Manufacturing and shipping buffer tanks for power plants.
In February, we shipped a buffer tank to a thermal power generation equipment manufacturer. This product is a large pressure vessel with an inner diameter of 4000 mm, a plate thickness of 74 mm, a total length of 26000 mm, and a weight of 192 tons.

Exhibited at the Anti-Terrorism Special Equipment Exhibition '18
In October, we exhibited at the Anti-Terrorism Special Equipment Exhibition '18 held at Tokyo Big Sight, continuing from the previous year. This time, we showcased a new prototype of a portable, assembly-type bulletproof wall. We received positive feedback from attendees, and we will continue to develop our products and strive to connect with new projects.

Presented a paper and exhibited a booth at IFM 2017 (International Forging Conference).
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery presented two technical papers and set up an exhibition booth at IFM 2017 (International Forging Conference) held in Austria in September. The presentations included an introduction to the [multifunctional] hydraulic press delivered last year and a non-contact measurement system for ring rolling using image sensor technology. In particular, the [multifunctional] hydraulic press was developed to meet the needs for high precision and high quality of engine valves in response to the recent trends of increasing engine output and improving fuel efficiency in the automotive industry, and the improvements were presented with practical examples compared to conventional machines.

Exhibited at MF-Tokyo 2017
In July, the "MF-Tokyo 2017 Press, Sheet Metal, and Forming Exhibition" was held at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Big Sight), and our company also participated. This time, we exhibited with a booth that incorporated decorations, and in addition to video presentations and display panels, we promoted our products using catalogs from our company and our customers.

Continuous manufacturing and shipping of plate heat exchangers.
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery shipped two plate heat exchangers (left photo: approximately 90 tons, right photo: approximately 180 tons) consecutively in June and September. We will continue to strive for further quality improvement to maintain the trust of our customers.

Received an Excellence Award from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. Conducted a factory tour for the "Special Vehicle Division" of the Mitsubishi Association.
Last year, our company received an Excellence Award from the head of the Special Vehicles Division of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, citing "excellence in technology, price, quality, and delivery" in the production of special vehicle parts. In connection with this, as part of the activities of the Mitsubishi Association, an excellent factory tour of the "Special Vehicle Division" was held at our company in September.

The Japan Society for Plastic Processing held a "Technical Discussion Meeting and Factory Tour."
The "98th Technical Discussion Meeting and Factory Tour" of the Japan Society for Plastic Processing, Kyushu Branch, was held at our company in June. The theme for this event was "Research Trends and Future Prospects in Ring Rolling," and three presentations were made, including one from our company on "Efforts in Numerical Analysis of Ring Rolling." Following that, a tour of our factory was also conducted.

Continuing to manufacture and deliver vibration control devices for overseas markets such as India and Thailand.
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery has manufactured and delivered three types of vibration isolation devices for forging presses with different specifications for India. Since the installation will be carried out by the customer, the vibration isolation device is composed of a vibration frame, coil springs, and viscous dampers, aiming to simplify the installation work and improve safety. The customer has given high praise for the fact that the installation work was completed without issues in a short period. Additionally, we have also manufactured and delivered a large-class vibration isolation device for screw presses for Thailand.

Manufacture and deliver jack embedding fittings for buried boxes.
Our company has manufactured jack embedding fittings for submerged caissons (iron boxes for underwater tunnels) in the marine equipment field. We supplied two types of jacks: support jacks for height adjustment and connecting jacks to link multiple submerged caissons together on the seabed.

In October, we exhibited at the Anti-Terrorism Special Equipment Exhibition '17 held at Tokyo Big Sight. This time, we showcased a newly designed modular bulletproof wall and a larger mobile bulletproof shield with surveillance windows, which received positive feedback from attendees. We will continue to strive for the development of our products and to connect with new projects.

We supplied the main shaft of the secondary dryer in the particle board manufacturing equipment (a device that molds chips from construction waste wood for reuse in furniture and building materials).

Manufacturing and delivery of the upper part of the converter for steelmaking companies.
As part of our aging infrastructure renewal project in the steel sector, we manufactured and delivered two converter upper bodies weighing approximately 70 tons each.

Manufacturing and delivering vacuum chambers for steelmaking companies.
Mitsubishi Nagasaki Machinery responded to the equipment renewal needs of steel manufacturers by manufacturing and delivering a vacuum chamber. This vacuum chamber is one of the largest pieces of equipment within a domestic vacuum induction melting furnace, which is used for refining metals under vacuum conditions. Since this equipment could not be transported by sea, it was disassembled to a size suitable for land transport and assembled on-site. The total weight of the manufactured equipment is approximately 500 tons. Additionally, as it is a vacuum device, helium leak tests were also conducted at the local welding points.
