In recent years, concerns about its "toxicity" have arisen, and it has been listed as a "substance subject to restrictions under the REACH regulation" in Europe, and it is expected to have similar impacts in Japan in the future. NMP-free water-based polyimide varnish can contribute to "avoiding the use of NMP" and "reducing VOCs for environmental improvement."
