Natural material tamarind gum composite (film and coating material)
Composite material using natural tamarind seed gum. Developed in-house at MP Gokyo FC, a coating agent and film that are both biodegradable and edible!
Tamarind seed gum composites possess the biodegradability of CNF and the edible characteristics of tamarind gum. Utilizing these features, applications as edible inks and paper coatings, as well as edible films and biodegradable sheets, are expected. In light of recent environmental initiatives, we aim to leverage our expertise in developing thickening polysaccharides to introduce tamarind seed gum composites across various industries. 【Features of Tamarind Seed Gum】 - Anionic polysaccharides derived from tamarind seeds - Main chain composed of glucose, with side chains of xylose and galactose - Molecular weight of approximately 470,000 - Excellent heat and acid resistance - Film-forming properties - Gas barrier properties - Upcycled raw material and edible - Biodegradable material *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
