The "LDM300A" is a tunnel cross-section/building clearance measuring device capable of limit measurements with a high precision of only ±3mm. The base is installed on the rail, and a laser is projected onto the measurement point. The horizontal distance from the rail surface and the track center, as well as the height, are measured.
