A 2D laser scanner that can automatically measure roundness.
It is possible to measure the roundness of large cylindrical objects over 10 meters. X-axis/Y-axis data is provided in real-time. This enables the measurement of roundness on-site.
By applying angle control to a high-precision laser distance sensor, it has become possible to measure and display X/Y coordinates. Achieving the precision that was insufficient in three-dimensional measurements has now become feasible.
