Silicon carbide (SiC) is a material that excels in heat resistance among fine ceramics and maintains its strength even at high temperatures. As a fine ceramic, silicon carbide is a difficult-to-machine material, but it is particularly hard and challenging to process. Depending on the shape, it is possible to respond to short delivery times through machining from pre-fired materials, so please feel free to inquire.
