The project "Co-creation Hub for Resource Circulation Society Using Renewable Polysaccharide Plant-Derived Plastics," in which our company participates, has been adopted as a new project in the "Co-creation Field (Full-scale Type)" for the fiscal year 2021 under the "Co-creation Space Formation Support Program" by the National Research and Development Agency, Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST). This project, led by Professor Kenji Takahashi of Kanazawa University, aims to establish new biorefinery production technologies that do not rely on fossil resources to solve various problems arising from the current fossil resource-dependent society. Our company aims to establish a technological foundation for producing sustainable materials by supplying ionic liquids, which are key materials for this project, and developing industrial production and recycling technologies.
