This is a Hastelloy flange open pressure vessel that we delivered to a pharmaceutical manufacturer. It was made from Hastelloy C-22 material to withstand the use of hydrochloric acid for liquid preparation and pumping. This prevents corrosion caused by hydrochloric acid. Similarly, the stirrer is a custom-made acid-resistant version with the shaft and stirrer, which are in contact with the liquid, changed to Hastelloy.
