[Experiment Report] Preliminary Mixing of Pharmaceutical Raw Materials | Mechanization of 18 Manual Shakes per Day

Can the pre-mixing of nearly 10kg bags of powder be mechanized using a rotary drum mixer?

Can the preliminary mixing of pharmaceutical raw materials be switched from manual labor to mechanization using a rotary drum mixer? This is a report on a practical test conducted in response to inquiries from pharmaceutical manufacturers. Raw materials for a batch of 28 kg are divided into 2 to 3 bags and mixed by hand for each bag. In this setting, the task of lifting and shaking 10 kg rice bags occurs 18 times a day. The test confirmed whether the particle size distribution of the 28 kg batch could be uniformly mixed, while also addressing safety measures and space requirements for installation. Three key points to consider before advancing to mechanization are also included.
