Nitto Seiko has obtained domestic explosion-proof certification for its mass flow meter "Clean Flow." Orders for this product will begin on February 1, 2019. ■ Background The mass flow meter "Clean Flow," which underwent a full model change in 2016, is equipped with a high-performance transmitter and can accurately measure direct mass flow in applications such as standard flow measurement, short-time filling, and fluid concentration monitoring. Previously, the product lineup included items that could only be used in non-hazardous areas for general industrial purposes in Japan, as well as overseas explosion-proof certified products (ATEX/IECEx, cFMus) for use abroad. However, we have now progressed to obtain certification for use in domestic explosion-proof areas. This product comes in both integrated and remote types, and we have obtained explosion-proof certification for all of them.
