■Overview■ This flow meter is a clamp-on ultrasonic flow meter (NU2) that can measure the flow rate of fluids flowing inside pipes from the outside of the pipes, with the addition of a DIN rail mount type. It employs the "time-of-flight difference method," which calculates flow velocity based on the time difference of ultrasonic waves transmitted in both the forward and reverse directions from each detector, and converts it to flow rate. Since it measures from outside the pipe, it is not affected by the corrosiveness of liquids, allowing for a wide variety of liquids to be measured.
