[Processing Example] Spinning Process - Titanium Beaker -
We propose titanium beakers to customers who were using glass beakers! The mold for spatula shaping offers good cost performance compared to press molds!
Attention all users of beakers in harsh environments, such as metal recycling manufacturers and scientific instrument manufacturers! Are you struggling with corrosion resistance and weight reduction? Why not try titanium beakers!? We would like to introduce a case study of spinning processing that we recently undertook. This is a type of plastic processing where a metal plate or cylinder is rotated while a specialized tool called a "spatula" is pressed against the plate to apply pressure and shape it. Customers who previously used glass beakers expressed concerns about glass breakage and corrosion resistance, leading us to propose the production of titanium beakers. Due to the anisotropy of titanium (the physical properties vary depending on the rolling direction), there are challenges in spinning that are not present with other metals. 【Case Overview】 ■ Processing Steps: Laser cutting of discs → Spinning → Spout pressing → Pickling ■ Material: Titanium Grade 1 and others ■ Manufacturing Range: Outer diameter/Φ180×H280mm approximately ■ Possible Applications: Marine-related, chemical-related, interior, exterior, automotive parts, etc. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
