[Processing Example] FG Treatment

Simultaneously advancing oxidation and carbonization! Surface treatment that forms a carbon-doped titanium oxide film on the surface.

We would like to introduce a case of FG processing that we have undertaken. This surface treatment excels in high hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and possesses photocatalytic properties. Unlike conventional plating surface treatments that have a significant hardness difference between the base material and the coating, this treatment features a continuous change in hardness between the base material and the surface hardened layer. It is possible to set the target hardness and film thickness based on the data book.
