"Olfa" is the company name and brand of Olfa Corporation, founded by Yoshio Okada, the inventor of the folding blade cutter. The folding blade cutter is a cutting tool characterized by the ability to renew the blade tip by breaking off the dull part of the blade. Next year, in 2026, we will celebrate the 70th anniversary of its invention, and in 2027, Olfa Corporation will celebrate its 60th anniversary.
