Panasonic Advanced Technology Co., Ltd. has started selling the functional safety-compliant wireless emergency stop device "@seguro wes" on May 16. It is characterized by its ease of installation compared to conventional wired emergency stop devices, allowing for reliable equipment shutdown without being limited by location. @seguro wes is a compact wireless device that enables remote emergency stops. By simply pressing a button, it can stop equipment and devices from a distance. It complies with the functional safety standard ISO 13849-1 PL d, making it ideal for use in industrial sectors where safety is paramount. Diagnostic features such as wireless communication interruption monitoring and power supply monitoring help prevent dangers even in the event of a malfunction. Compared to traditional wired devices, it is easier to install and can be used in various locations, leading to cost savings. Additionally, it can transmit not only emergency stop signals but also three general-purpose I/O signals, allowing for flexible usage tailored to customer systems. With the launch of @seguro wes, we aim to ensure customer safety and contribute to the enhancement of societal safety.
