Basics of Air Filters

Particle Plus is expanding its scope from clean rooms in sterile process monitoring, electronics, precision, and chemicals to large particle detection in batteries, painting, and printing, as well as ultra-high concentration areas such as air pollution monitoring. To make it easier to select models, I have created a reverse lookup list.

"5nm Detection Adiabatic Expansion Type Pulse Mode CPC" Adopts new technology different from conventional CPCs, eliminating the possibility of false counts (nucleation-free) to the utmost extent, and detecting particles as small as 5nm.

Particle counters cater to a variety of applications, from high cleanliness environments in clean rooms to large particle detection and air pollution monitoring systems. There are various options available, including detection particle size, flow rate, number of particle size categories, and corresponding concentrations. We have prepared a list of models.

Clean rooms, of course, as well as machining environments, hospital wards, experimental environments, the Antarctic research vessel "Shirase," and atmospheric observations using drones have all come to be used in various settings.

This is the material used in a presentation meeting in Vietnam in March 2025. It includes examples from the optical thin film process and measurements used. The features of the Particle Plus counter, such as its wide concentration range from high purity to ultra-high concentration, long battery life, one-second measurement, and large memory capacity, can be either utilized or wasted depending on how it is used. There are various challenges in aiming for simple high purification in optical processes.
