★Free Demo Version Campaign★ Announcement of the giveaway of a popular electromagnetic field analysis software demo version.
From November 1, 2018 (Thursday) to January 31, 2019 (Thursday), we will be running a free campaign for the demo version of the electromagnetic field analysis software "PHOTO-Series," which can visualize magnetic field distribution and eddy current density distribution. The demo version has no time limit for trying out the program, and all features, except for the number of elements (or nodes), are the same as the full version. One of the non-destructive testing methods for detecting defects, the eddy current deep flaw method, is also included in the analysis targets. By changing the arrangement of the inspection target and coil, it is possible to understand the situation in advance through analysis. Additionally, current sensors and capacitance sensors, which are widely used as non-contact sensors, are also included in the analysis targets, allowing you to utilize simulations of sensors that leverage electromagnetic phenomena. If you are considering purchasing the product or would like to experience the software firsthand, please take this opportunity to practice and experience the operation. *For more details, please feel free to contact us.

Notice of PHOTO-Series Update (Ver 9.4)
In April 2022, we released the latest version 9.4 of the "PHOTO-Series." PHOTO-Series is an electromagnetic field analysis software that balances high functionality with low cost. It is a self-developed simulation tool that can simulate various electromagnetic phenomena by combining its rich features for analysis. [Main Feature Additions] (1) Added scattering by a perfectly conducting sphere to WAVEω's Mie scattering, and expanded the dielectric constant of the scatterer to complex numbers. (2) VOLTBM now allows for the setting of floating conductors, and added iterative solution methods such as Bi-CGSTAB and GMRES. Additionally, with the introduction of the fast multipole method, it can now handle larger scale problems (hundreds of thousands of elements). (3) Added node current input for current input in MAGTZ. Added iterative solution methods such as Bi-CGSTAB and GMRES.
Aboutフォトン
We develop and sell electromagnetic field analysis simulation software. With our detailed support, we assist our customers in efficient development and design.
At Photon, we are developing "electromagnetic field analysis software" that models and simulates products and components utilizing electromagnetic phenomena on a computer. In traditional design and development environments, the process has primarily revolved around trial and error through prototyping based on the experience of engineers and experiments with prototypes. However, conducting experiments using actual prototypes and analyzing the results requires significant time and cost. Moving forward, transitioning from an experimental and prototyping-based approach to an analysis-based design approach will be a crucial challenge for improving productivity, and establishing simulation technology as the core of analysis-based design techniques will be essential. In this context, Photon is developing and providing "analysis software" focusing on electromagnetic fields, as well as heat, vibration, and sound fields. By utilizing Photon's software, efficient development and design of various industrial products can be achieved. In this way, Photon aims to support users in reducing the number of prototypes, lowering development costs, and shortening development periods in their manufacturing environments, ultimately enhancing their competitiveness.
