PIAB "piSAVE sense" vacuum check valve
Even when there are multiple sizes of workpieces being transported by suction, optimize the use of supply air.
Piab's piSAVE sense optimizes the use of supply air even when the size of the workpieces being handled varies. It is suitable for porous materials such as cardboard. 【Features】 - Used in applications with multiple suction pads connected to a single vacuum pump. - The vacuum check valve maintains a sufficiently high response speed and vacuum level even when some suction pads are not in contact with the workpiece. basic information
【Features】 ○ The design that incorporates a vacuum check valve allows for the miniaturization of the vacuum pump required for the application. ○ Ideal for applications where the number of workpieces to be suctioned varies each time or where workpieces of different sizes are flowing through. ○ Effective for workpieces with high leakage, such as fiberboard and cardboard. ○ Effective against high leakage workpieces from the lip section of the suction pad. ○ Three types of valves can be selected according to the vacuum pressure and the leakage flow rate. ○ The valves are built into aluminum fittings with male and female threads, making installation easy. ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

The "piGRIP FLC" from Piab expands the world of Piab's suction cups.
The piGRIP® FLC is a new interface component that is compatible with all existing Piab suction cups. Regardless of the application, it allows for easier and more sophisticated adjustments for height differences and angles during picking. By adding the FLC between the piGRIP bellows and your preferred suction cup, the flexibility of operation is significantly enhanced. It enables the use of cups that were previously unusable due to insufficient stroke, while maintaining unique sealing performance and friction patterns. The FLC interface features a joint function that expands the range of motion by adjusting the angle of the suction cup relative to the workpiece. Additionally, by using a clamp fitting, the FLC, bellows, and suction cup can be securely fixed, reducing the risk of the cup detaching during operation. This also significantly lowers the risk of damage to the workpiece during transport. Furthermore, by incorporating the piSAVE sense valve between the piGRIP FLC and the suction cup, it becomes possible to control the extension and contraction of the FLC stroke before picking. [Introduction to Innovation Video] piSAVE(R)sense - Handling products of various sizes/numbers #Reducing suction errors
In cases where all suction cups do not make contact with the workpiece, vacuum leakage occurs, requiring a larger ejector than normally necessary. By using piSAVE sense, when the suction cups do not contact the workpiece, the valve of piSAVE sense closes, minimizing vacuum leakage. Only the valves of the suction cups that are in contact with the workpiece open, allowing for suction.
