The "piCOBOT(R) Electric" leads the piCOBOT(R) program to further success. ■ Release of limitations on the range of motion of collaborative robot arms The piCOBOT(R) Electric vacuum gripper unit does not require compressed air. The versatility of collaborative robots is significantly enhanced. Due to its lightweight design, it can be directly mounted on the flange of collaborative robot tools. Since vacuum piping is unnecessary, the range of motion of the arm is not restricted at all. ■ Electricity instead of compressed air With only one connection for both power supply and data flow, the entire installed unit can be quickly removed and easily relocated. To maximize the performance of both the vacuum gripper unit and the collaborative robot, it can be used with a serial communication protocol for UR e-series.
