Piab's new series of modular suction cups 'BXP ESD' Electrostatic discharge (ESD), which occurs when accumulated electricity suddenly flows between two objects, can have detrimental effects on many manufacturing industries. ESD is not only hazardous to operators but can also damage delicate components of batteries and electronic devices, potentially leading to malfunctions or failures. To protect delicate components such as batteries, fuel cells, and electronic devices from the adverse effects of electrostatic discharge during handling, Piab has developed a new series of suction cups incorporating ESD protection technology.
