Our company manufactures and sells air shafts and air chucks that grip the core (core paper tube) during the expansion and contraction of rubber tubes. By utilizing the property of rubber balloons that expand when compressed air is added and contract when the air is released, we can easily and securely fix the core by moving the claws, called lugs, that are incorporated into the air shaft and air chuck. In addition to air-operated systems, we have also responded to customer needs with various mechanisms, including mechanical (screw-driven) and high-precision cylinder types, as well as cam systems. By leveraging these mechanisms, we can not only secure the core but also use them for applying seals to products, as fixtures for lathes and machining processes, and more recently, as shafts for tool mounting, where they are used for clamping after NC control has positioned the tools.
