■Slurry Dispersion Technology Using the Thin Film Rotary High-Speed Mixer "Filmix(R)" <Lecture Overview> Filmix(R) is a device that enables unique emulsification and dispersion, differing from conventional high-speed mixers, through the principle of thin film rotary method, allowing for the uniform processing of fine particles and control of particle size. It can handle a range from low-viscosity solutions to relatively high-viscosity slurry dispersions, enabling uniform dispersion processing in a short time. In recent years, it has been widely used as a slurry manufacturing device for electrode materials in the lithium-ion battery field. This lecture will introduce stirring techniques that leverage the features of Filmix(R), focusing on dispersion examples of electrode materials for lithium-ion batteries.
