Hydrogen Flame Demonstration with AR Smart Glasses
Hydrogen flames are not visible due to the lack of visible light and their colorless, transparent nature. In the hydrogen supply chain, no matter how advanced the fail-safes are, human or mechanical errors can occur. From the perspective of preventive maintenance and functional safety, please experience the need to make the invisible hazard of hydrogen flames apparent.

Completion of the wireless hydrogen sensor network demonstration.
The realization of odorless hydrogen supply through pipelines, assuming large-scale hydrogen transport in the future, requires leakage hydrogen detection as a substitute for odor detection. Therefore, our company has been developing a multi-point leakage hydrogen monitoring network system in collaboration with Iwatani Corporation, utilizing the Kitakyushu City Environmental Future Technology Development Grant, and has completed a three-year demonstration starting from the fiscal year 2019. In the development for fiscal year 2021, we conducted demonstrations at the 'Hydrogen Pipeline Leakage Simulation Evaluation Facility' established at the Kitakyushu Eco-Town Center, focusing on response tests of wireless hydrogen sensors and hydrogen selectivity evaluations in mixed gas environments. We also verified the appropriate pitch between handholes while varying the conditions of sensor response time and distance from the hydrogen leakage point. By continuously disseminating reliable evidence obtained from this research and development from Kitakyushu City, we believe it will contribute to the early utilization of odorless hydrogen and the establishment of a hydrogen supply chain.

Published in the September issue of Japan Industrial Publishing's "Measurement Technology."
[Article Publication] Development of a Multi-Point Hydrogen Leak Monitoring Network The overall theme of the magazine is "Decarbonization." Currently, we are conducting a demonstration of buried hydrogen pipelines in the final year, but we must advocate for a safe and secure system that replaces the odor associated with hydrogen. If we don't, we risk becoming isolated like the Galapagos and losing in international competition, which I felt compelled to write about with a sense of responsibility.

Introduction video for the Super Clean Generation Device.
◆Koken Co., Ltd. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC0a3buURm07mrPgeBBAb_nw Marketing as a sales company for measuring instruments is difficult. If we only rely on the manufacturer's marketing and focus solely on sales activities, it feels like we are not connecting with the users. To change our perspective, I had my subordinates create a video. The concept is, "A video that does not adopt the perspective of the creator." It has turned into a sort of social studies field trip, but this could become a unique characteristic in its own right. This clean system is also purchased by our technology group, and since it is portable, it always seems like someone is setting it up somewhere. It is similar to the concept of MieruTIME4D, where it can be set up quickly, measured swiftly, and taken down just as fast, which is great.

Published in Nikkei Electronics: 'Hydrogen Pipeline Demonstration' (Unattached Odorless Hydrogen)
An article about the hydrogen pipeline demonstration was featured briefly in the electronic edition of the Nikkei. During the coverage of the Kitakyushu Hydrogen Town, Iwatani Corporation was the main focus, but I think the reporter was considerate of me as I passionately explained things on my own. The development of the multi-point hydrogen leak monitoring network is also in its final year, and my motivation has increased. I will keep doing my best.

New Product Announcement: "High Voltage Test Box"
The evaluation of power semiconductors involves testing under high voltage/high current conditions, which is very dangerous. In particular, even if the power supply is turned off, the state where the capacitors have not discharged remains "high voltage," posing a risk to life. This testing environment was created in collaboration with Professor Omura from Kyushu Institute of Technology, with the principle of "putting the safety of students conducting dangerous tests first" in mind, and it incorporates mechanisms for hazard avoidance. We also offer units and tabletop racks for sale. We look forward to your inquiries.

Wireless Temperature Measurement System "MieruTIME 4D"
We developed a wireless measurement system that synchronously measures spatial temperature at multiple points in collaboration with Chubu Electric Power Co., Ltd., expressing it in 4D (XYZ axes + time axis). Kyushu Measuring Instruments' "Spatial Visualization System" is a "multi-point synchronous measurement system" widely adopted in environmental testing rooms and comfort testing rooms of air conditioning manufacturers. By adding the development concept of "mobility" to this system, we have successfully developed a wireless measurement system in collaboration with Chubu Electric Power. For visualizing indoor environments, such as "temperature unevenness due to heat discharge from equipment" and "heat accumulation" in factories and restaurants, real-time measurement in actual environments and reliability through synchronous measurement are required. This system has achieved time savings in "measurement preparation (installation/removal)," which was a problem in actual measurements, and the measurement data obtained by this system is optimal for analysis and analytical data for "energy solution services." Since December 1, 2017, Chubu Electric Power has started a measurement service using this system as part of its "service to provide optimal utilization of energy." Orders will begin in February 2018, with a sales target of 30 units per year.

Exhibition of Plasma Equipment at the Western Japan Manufacturing Technology Innovation 2015
The technology of atmospheric pressure plasma is an important technology that has been put to practical use in the cleaning of large flat panels, the neutralization of harmful gases, and sterilization. However, there were no processing devices for powders, so the Koga Keiko Laboratory at Kyushu Sangyo University’s Comprehensive Equipment Center developed a prototype, obtained a patent, and commercialized it through joint development with our company. This time, we will be exhibiting a powder atmospheric pressure plasma processing device.
