Our company will begin shipping the serial optical converter "RS-OP61," which converts serial communication such as RS-232C to optical communication for corporate products, starting in December. This product is a serial ⇔ optical signal converter that can convert serial communication signals into optical signals. By using this product, the communication distance between a PC and remote serial communication devices such as RS-232C can be extended up to 40 km. ● Extension of up to 40 km is possible By connecting a PC and serial communication devices to optical fiber cables through this product, serial communication of up to 40 km (point-to-point mode) is possible. Additionally, by connecting three or more devices (ring mode), serial communication of up to 100 km can be achieved. ● Easy mode switching for serial communication with DIP switches With simple operation of the DIP switches located on the side of the unit, it is possible to quickly switch to modes such as RS-232C or RS-422/485. ● Connector features detachable terminal blocks Detachable terminal blocks are used for power and signal lines, providing excellent workability during installation.
