Fire-resistant wrapping material: Obtained one-hour fire resistance structural certification for square steel pipe columns and round steel pipe columns.

ROCKWOOL Japan LLC has obtained a one-hour fire resistance structure certification (Certification Number FP060CN-1053) for square steel pipe columns (150x150x9mm or larger) and circular steel pipe columns (φ191x9mm or larger). Until now, we have been manufacturing and selling the fireproof covering material "Tekkaroll" using the certification of the company from which we acquired the business, for fireproofing steel-framed buildings. With the new certification obtained, we can further expand our sales. The wrapped fireproof covering material has the advantage of producing significantly less dust and noise during and after construction compared to sprayed fireproofing materials, and it can also be installed concurrently with other construction work. Moving forward, we aim to continue obtaining fire resistance structure certifications for "Tekkaroll" and increase the number of certifications to expand our sales in the market.
