On May 12, 2025, Rockpanel and ROCKWOOL Japan held a private event at the Belgian Pavilion of the Osaka Expo. About 60 participants, including design firms, sales agents, and other stakeholders, attended the event. The event focused on our versatile stone wool products, featuring three external stakeholders from the Trirock project as speakers. Each speaker discussed how stone wool can contribute to buildings from different perspectives, as well as its durability and environmentally friendly characteristics. Stone wool is not only a naturally renewable and sustainable material but also offers unique combinations that form the foundation of our business. Although the event was brief, we are pleased that it served as a meaningful platform for exchanging ideas and networking. Trirock is an insulation material for wooden houses. ROCKWOOL Group has announced its annual report for 2024. The total revenue for the fiscal year 2024 reached 3,855 MEUR (616.8 billion yen, based on an exchange rate of 1 euro = 160 yen), representing a 6% increase in local currency and a 7% increase on a reported basis. EBIT for 2024 increased by 31% to 677 MEUR (108.3 billion yen), with an EBIT margin of 17.5%. ROCKWOOL Group announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2024. Revenue was €957 million (approximately ¥153 billion, based on an exchange rate of €1 = ¥160), representing a 5% increase year-on-year in local currency terms. On a reported basis, it increased by 6%. The EBIT margin was 18.1%, up by 1.9 percentage points. ROCKWOOL Group announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2024. Revenue reached €1.01 billion (approximately ¥162 billion, based on an exchange rate of €1 = ¥160), representing a 10% increase in local currency compared to the second quarter of 2023. The EBIT margin was 18.7%, an increase of 4.2 percentage points from the previous year. "We are satisfied with the performance of sales and earnings in the second quarter, with revenue reaching an all-time high. ROCKWOOL Japan LLC has obtained a one-hour fire resistance structure certification (Certification Number FP060CN-1053) for square steel pipe columns (150x150x9mm or larger) and circular steel pipe columns (φ191x9mm or larger). Until now, we have been manufacturing and selling the fireproof covering material "Tekkaroll" using the certification of the company from which we acquired the business, for fireproofing steel-framed buildings. With the new certification obtained, we can further expand our sales. The wrapped fireproof covering material has the advantage of producing significantly less dust and noise during and after construction compared to sprayed fireproofing materials, and it can also be installed concurrently with other construction work. Moving forward, we aim to continue obtaining fire resistance structure certifications for "Tekkaroll" and increase the number of certifications to expand our sales in the market.
