ROCKWOOL Group announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2024. Revenue reached €1.01 billion (approximately ¥162 billion, based on an exchange rate of €1 = ¥160), representing a 10% increase in local currency compared to the second quarter of 2023. The EBIT margin was 18.7%, an increase of 4.2 percentage points from the previous year. "We are satisfied with the performance of sales and earnings in the second quarter, with revenue reaching an all-time high. This result was primarily driven by increased sales volumes in multiple regions, stable prices, and very efficient operations. The growth in sales volumes was particularly strong in Eastern Europe, North America, and South Asia. While new construction in Western Europe continues to face challenges, the renovation and industrial sectors performed better than new construction. Overall, sales were strong in Germany, Italy, Spain, and Sweden, but not as much in France and the UK."
