Introduction to the Development Technology of Direct Ultrasonic Axial Force Measurement System
Provision of high-precision mass production axial force fastening technology for stabilizing bolt axial force fastening! - Measurement results using ultrasonic axial force gauges linked with nut runners.
We would like to introduce our development technology, the "Direct Axial Force Measurement System," in collaboration with our company and affiliated companies. It allows for the optimization of the specifications of the bolt itself and the components being fastened, achieving cost reduction. Quality is improved through axial force stabilization, prevention of incorrect assembly, and traceability. Additionally, it enables a reduction in the man-hours required for development maturation and torque checks during mass production. 【Value Provided】 ■ Cost Reduction: Optimization of bolt specifications / components being fastened ■ Reduction in Man-Hours: Development maturation man-hours / torque check man-hours during mass production ■ Quality Improvement: Axial force stabilization / prevention of incorrect assembly / traceability *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

We have uploaded a video introducing the axial force control fastening system technology.
We have uploaded a technical introduction video of the direct axial force control system that enables fastening control through axial force. This technology has been developed in collaboration with Honda Motor Co., Ltd. In mass production, bolt fastening has relied on torque or angle methods, but we have developed a new technology that allows fastening at the required bolt axial force while directly measuring the axial force. This technology enables bolt fastening with reduced axial force variation in the mass production process. It is expected to be used in various fields and applications. We have also set up a demonstration unit at our factory. If you have any questions or requests, please feel free to contact us through the form.

Announcement of video publication on ultrasonic bolt axial force direct bolt tightening.
We developed a direct axial force tightening device that integrates an ultrasonic bolt axial force gauge and a bolt tightening device, and we reported it in the news. We have also added a video of the direct axial force tightening situation to the Ipros product information. Please take a look. Video Composition: In the prototype system, the nut runner is made by ESTIC, and the ultrasonic bolt axial force gauge is a custom model UI-27AF manufactured by Mitsubishi Electric Shonan Electronics. The bolts used are engine bolts produced by Saga Iron Works. (Direct Bolt Axial Force Tightening System) During bolt fastening, the axial force applied to the bolt is measured from seating to tightening using a uniquely developed ultrasonic sensor and axial force measurement unit. The measurement is converted to axial force based on ultrasonic propagation time, and fastening is performed at the set axial force value. This technology is expected to be utilized as a method to suppress variations in bolt fastening axial force and achieve stabilization. *The system introduced is a development technology by three companies: Honda R&D, Saga Iron Works, and Mitsubishi Electric Shonan Electronics.
