Spring 2026 Second Examination Preparation Course (Practical) Information (Japan Welding Engineering Center) Eastern Japan Region
This is information about the ultrasonic flaw detector handling training course. As of April 15, 2026, there are some openings available. Japan Welding Engineering Center - May 21 (Thursday) to May 22 (Friday) for 2 days, UT Level 1, 12 participants each for R and G types, no personal equipment allowed. - May 26 (Thursday) to May 27 (Friday) for 2 days, UT Level 2, only personal equipment allowed, total of 12 participants. - May 19 (Tuesday) to May 20 (Wednesday) for 2 days, UT Level 2, R type only, 6 participants, no personal equipment allowed. In the practical training course, we aim to provide instruction that closely resembles the actual practical exam, with the goal of having all participants pass. Additionally, for Level 2 candidates, we will also provide guidance on the preparation of NDT instructions. Please note that in the ultrasonic training course, practical instruction will be conducted using the same digital flaw detectors that will be used in the practical exam, so please fill in the type name of the flaw detector (G type or R type) you applied for in the application form for this training course. Information on the Re-certification Exam UT Practical Training Course (Chiba Prefecture Non-Destructive Testing Research Association) Eastern Japan Region Guide
This is a practical training course for the re-certification examination of Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Level 1 and Level 2 technicians. It is aimed at those taking the re-certification examination from August 21 to 25. The Chiba Prefecture Non-Destructive Testing Research Association and the Chiba Prefecture Steel Frame Industry Association are co-hosting a practical training course for re-certification candidates for NDI certification qualifications UT Level 1 and Level 2, in accordance with JIS Z 2305: 2013, as detailed below. 1. Target Participants: Candidates for the re-certification examination held in the Tokyo area from August 21 to 25. 2. Training Venue: Chiba City, Inage Ward, Tendai 6-13-1 Chiba Prefectural Industrial Support Technology Research Institute, 1st Floor Conference Room. 3. Dates of the Event: From August 5 (Monday) to August 7 (Wednesday), 2024. Training hours are from 9:00 to 16:20. A total of 8 participants for Level 1 and Level 2 combined; however, Level 1 will be conducted over 2 days.
