Spring 2026 Second Examination Preparation Course (Practical) Information (Japan Welding Engineering Center) Eastern Japan Region
This is information about the ultrasonic flaw detector handling training course. As of April 15, 2026, there are some openings available. Japan Welding Engineering Center - May 21 (Thursday) to May 22 (Friday) for 2 days, UT Level 1, 12 participants each for R and G types, no personal equipment allowed. - May 26 (Thursday) to May 27 (Friday) for 2 days, UT Level 2, only personal equipment allowed, total of 12 participants. - May 19 (Tuesday) to May 20 (Wednesday) for 2 days, UT Level 2, R type only, 6 participants, no personal equipment allowed. In the practical training course, we aim to provide instruction that closely resembles the actual practical exam, with the goal of having all participants pass. Additionally, for Level 2 candidates, we will also provide guidance on the preparation of NDT instructions. Please note that in the ultrasonic training course, practical instruction will be conducted using the same digital flaw detectors that will be used in the practical exam, so please fill in the type name of the flaw detector (G type or R type) you applied for in the application form for this training course. This is information about a training session for practical examinations of ultrasonic flaw detectors. It is co-hosted by the Chiba Prefecture Non-Destructive Testing Research Association and the Chiba Prefecture Steel Frame Industry Association, targeting new and recertification examinees for UT Level 1 and UT Level 2. 1. Target Audience: This is limited to individuals planning to take the new and recertification practical examinations conducted by the Japan Non-Destructive Testing Association in the Tokyo area after June 2. 2. Training Venue: 1st Floor Conference Room, Chiba Prefectural Industrial Support Technology Research Institute, 6-13-1 Tendai, Inage Ward, Chiba City 3. Dates: From May 21 (Thursday) to May 29 (Friday), 2026, with lecture hours from 9:00 AM to 4:20 PM.
