Additionally, if the powder being collected contains environmental hormones or hazardous materials, there is a risk of environmental pollution and danger to the cleaning personnel. Ryuki Engineering has developed a method that divides the dust collection container, which houses the filter elements, into an upstream dust collection chamber and a downstream filtration chamber, each equipped with supply and discharge paths for cleaning liquid and opening and closing valves. This allows for the safe cleaning of not only the filter elements but also the dust collection container. The filter elements utilize surface filtration with a permeable Teflon membrane, enabling complete cleaning by applying pulse shock waves during immersion after dust removal. Furthermore, using high-temperature water for flushing can eliminate general bacteria. This method has already been adopted by major pharmaceutical manufacturers.
