"SIGNAS (Singpost Navigation System)" is a transport robot that autonomously navigates while recognizing "signposts" using its built-in camera. Unlike AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) that require route tapes and are commonly used in many manufacturing and logistics sites, it features a unique autonomous movement control system that realizes an unprecedented new guidance method.     **Product Features** 1. Easy setup with a unique autonomous movement control system The robot measures the distance and orientation to installed signposts (markers) using an embedded stereo camera, controlling its movement actions (start, curve, spin turn, stop) along the route. Setting the route only requires the installation of signposts, eliminating the need for complicated programming knowledge. Additionally, changing the route is as simple as moving the signposts. Since it is tape-free, there is no hassle of layout change construction. 2. Versatile applications and operating environments "SIGNAS" is available in two lineups: loading and towing. While typical AGVs (automated guided vehicles) used for material transport on construction sites or logistics within factories have limited usage locations and applications, "SIGNAS" can operate in areas with steps or ramps, as well as in environments that transition between indoors and outdoors. It can be utilized for a wide range of applications tailored to the conditions of the operating environment, space, and transported items. 3. Equipped with a safety stop function It is equipped with an LRF (laser range finder) and bumper sensors to detect obstacles during movement, ensuring safe stopping if there are obstructions in its path.
