We are pleased to announce that Sankei Co., Ltd. has started selling the THK manufactured transport robot "SIGNAS"! "SIGNAS (Singpost Navigation System)" is a transport robot that autonomously navigates while recognizing "signposts" using its built-in camera. Unlike AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles) that require route tapes and are commonly used in many manufacturing and logistics sites, it features a unique autonomous movement control system that realizes an unprecedented new guidance method. While labor shortages are becoming increasingly serious in today's workplaces, there is a growing demand for the automation of simple tasks and improvements in the productivity of on-site staff. "SIGNAS" not only automates transport tasks that were traditionally performed by humans but also aims to enhance productivity through collaborative work with people. Sanki Co., Ltd. will be exhibiting at "Messe Nagoya 2022," held at Port Messe Nagoya. This exhibition is one of Japan's largest business trade shows, inviting exhibitors from a wide range of fields and regions, transcending industry and business type, to promote mutual business expansion, information dissemination, and cross-industry exchange. We will have two booths. In the Collaborative Robot Team 1A-49, we plan to showcase a collaborative robot package featuring "DOBOT" and the visual AI "Roxy AI," as well as an AMR from YOUIBOT.
