The Clippard NPV series pinch valve made in the USA is a solenoid-type miniature pinch valve that allows for the opening and closing of fluid pathways without the fluid coming into contact with the valve body by applying pressure to the outer circumference of a soft tube. The structure that directly crushes the tube to open and close the pathway is hygienic and minimizes the generation of dead volume in the fluid passage, making it easier to control small amounts of fluid. The NPV series comes with a pre-installed 12-inch medical/laboratory-grade silicone tube, and an optional silicone tube for beverage applications is also available.
