Title: Support for Life Sciences and Drug Discovery Research by AMED BINDS at the Drug Discovery Science Research Support Center, Osaka University, and the Utilization of Incucyte Abstract: The AMED Life Sciences and Drug Discovery Research Support Infrastructure Project (BINDS) is a research support initiative aimed at connecting the results of Japan's outstanding life sciences research to drug discovery and development. At the Drug Discovery Science Research Support Center of Osaka University, we have established a system to seamlessly support advanced equipment setup and utilization, exploration of drug discovery target molecules, provision of compound libraries, implementation of high-throughput screening, and structural development of compounds as well as in vivo pharmacokinetics and safety testing, following the acceptance of BINDS. This seminar will introduce examples of the use of Incucyte in toxicity evaluations utilizing spheroids and organoids, along with these distinctive support features.
