Our company was established in 1935 when our founder, Zenichi Hattori, discovered that green tea leaves and stems could be separated by the phenomenon of frictional electrification. At the same time, we invented the electrostatic tea sorting machine. In 1962, we commercialized Japan's first color sorter. Over the years, we have been developing various sorting machines as a pioneer in sorting technology in Japan. Our top priority has always been customer satisfaction, and our motto has been to never give up until we achieve high-quality sorting. The results of our development efforts are reflected in our current products.
Business Activities
Our products are classified into three types: optical sorting machines that sort by color and optical difference, vacuum sorting machines that sort by weight, and electrostatic sorting machines that sort by friction charging phenomena and dielectric constant. By combining these technologies, we propose the optimal sorting line tailored to our customers' needs. They are used for removing foreign materials and defective products in various foods, industrial materials, and pharmaceuticals.
