The PA series is a special polyamide resin (nylon) polymerized with high-purity polymerized fatty acids as the acid component. Due to the structural carbon number (34) derived from polymerized fatty acids and the linear high molecular structure, it exhibits properties not found in general-purpose nylon. The TPAE series is an elastomeric version based on PA. We have received the 17th Iwaki Tribo Coating Network Award (Iwaki Prize)!
On February 21, 2025 (Friday), at the RIKEN Suzuaki Umetaro Memorial Hall, I received the "Iwaki Award for Business" from the Tribology Technology Research Association. This award recognizes individuals, corporations, and organizations that have made significant achievements in the field of tribo-coating, and it was established in 2008. I received the business award for the achievement titled "Support for Tribo-coating Research through the Promotion of Tribology Testing Machines Useful for DLC Films and Others."
