Eastman Chemical's Serasefate (cellulose acetate phthalate) is a pH-sensitive cellulose derivative designed for coating pharmaceutical tablets or granules. 【Features】 Serasefate withstands prolonged contact with acidic gastric juice but dissolves easily in the weakly acidic to neutral environment of the small intestine.
