We would like to introduce a case of "aggregate hopper renovation work" carried out at a ready-mix concrete plant in Aichi Prefecture. The spill prevention plate of the hopper was at risk of peeling off due to aging, so it was replaced. Through our work, we expanded the prevention plate horizontally to prevent the shovel's bucket from hitting it during material input, and we modified it to allow for replacement when the plate corrodes.
