Publication of a case study for Daikin Industries, Ltd.
We have published a case study article on the implementation of the "IoT Angle Sensor Unit," which digitizes measurement values by retrofitting existing analog meters and enables remote monitoring, at Daikin Industries, Ltd. ―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― Reduced inspection time by approximately 4,000 hours annually. Continuous monitoring also allows for predictive maintenance. Case Study | Daikin Industries, Ltd. Read the article here: https://sirc.co.jp/news/4758/ ―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――― ◆ Background of Implementation - The Chemical Division of Daikin faced a significant burden due to the large amount of labor required for routine visual inspections. - Although the need for continuous monitoring of equipment was increasing, the high barriers to system implementation due to installation work and cost constraints were a challenge. - Traditional routine visual inspections were limited to checks every 8 hours, making early detection of equipment anomalies difficult. ◆ Results of Implementation - Achieved approximately 4,000 hours of operational efficiency annually. - Early detection of equipment anomalies and reduction in repair costs through continuous monitoring. - Utilized the time saved through efficiency improvements for personnel development.

New Product Release: [IoT Digital Input Unit]
SIRC Co., Ltd. has released a new product, the "IoT Digital Input Unit," which wirelessly transmits data obtained from existing measuring instruments via Bluetooth and aggregates it in the cloud or data loggers. This product easily captures signals from widely used devices in the field, such as production quantity counters and flow meters for air, liquids, and gases, centralizing data that was previously managed separately. It strongly supports the utilization of data as a foundation for promoting energy savings and improving operational efficiency. Key features include the ability to connect up to three devices with a single touch using the included terminal block. Each count can be recorded individually, allowing for flexible management of multiple devices simultaneously. Additionally, it supports both battery operation and external power supply, enabling users to switch according to the environment and application in the field.
AboutSIRC
Visualizing site data with IoT sensors that require no installation.
SIRC Corporation provides IoT sensors that can be retrofitted to existing equipment without large-scale construction for factories and plants. The main products include the "IoT Power Sensor Unit," which allows for easy measurement of power consumption for each piece of equipment and can be installed in about 15 seconds, and the "IoT Angle Sensor Unit," which can convert existing analog meters into IoT devices. Additionally, SIRC has developed its own cloud service, "SIRC Cloud," to visualize this data and support centralized management of on-site data. SIRC supports "on-site DX" that can be initiated while valuing and making the most of existing equipment.
