[Case Study: Pharmaceuticals] A robot that precisely processes unsealed vials at a speed of 24,000 units per hour.
Many pharmaceuticals are supplied in vials and are transferred to syringes in hospitals and clinics. The preferred storage method is freeze-drying. To prevent contact with glass, robots must meet all the aseptic requirements necessary for operation in a Grade A cleanroom environment. This is why HOF chose our 'Stericlean,' which is resistant to intensive cleaning processes and achieves a longer service life. The "SIRIUS system" enables handling of up to 400 vials per minute with 2 millimeter (2R) vials. For more details, please refer to the related products and catalog below.

Case Study: Pharmaceuticals - Aseptic Environment: Robot Automation in Vaccine Production
We would like to introduce a case of utilizing robots in a large-scale vaccine manufacturing facility in China. This case represents a groundbreaking success story using our 'TX200 Stericlean' in the biopharmaceutical industry in China. Stäubli China anticipates that other companies will also advance similar automation. Currently, there are 48 vaccine manufacturing companies in China, and more than half of them have adopted processes using cell factories that require the transport and vibration of trays for vaccine production. Please take a look at practical examples of robot utilization, such as the company's transport automation. **Benefits of Vaccine Manufacturing Automation** - Automated cell production reduces investment and production costs. - The number of CO2 incubators is reduced with the installation of robots. - Consumables such as protective clothing for staff and energy consumption for temperature control are also reduced. - Operators do not need to enter the room where vaccines are manufactured. - The risk of contamination is minimized. *For more details, please refer to related products and catalogs, or feel free to contact us.*
