Stratus Technologies announced that its high-reliability edge computing platform product, "Stratus ztCTM Edge," has been certified under Amazon Web Services' (AWS) device certification program, "AWS IoT Core." The AWS IoT certification clearly demonstrates to partner companies and their customers that the devices can interoperate properly and consistently. By using AWS IoT, customers can easily integrate Stratus ztC Edge into AWS-based cloud environments, seamlessly collecting and analyzing data generated at the edge in the AWS cloud environment. This enables reduced development time and simplified system management. Customers' IoT solutions can be combined with hardware and software that have been pre-validated and confirmed to work with AWS IoT devices.
