Lightweighting through rubber substitution Injection molding TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer)
Cost reduction possible! Coloring is easy, and since there is no vulcanization process, the production process is shortened!
TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer) is a functional resin material that combines the characteristics of rubber and resin. When heated, TPE flows into a viscous state. By molding it with a plastic injection molding machine, parts that would typically require assembly of several components with other materials can be formed into a near-finished product all at once, without the need for mixing or measuring, and without the need for deburring. In rubber molding, a vulcanization (cross-linking) process was required separately, but TPE can achieve elasticity without vulcanization. This reduction in processes can lead to cost savings. 【Features】 - Lightweight and cost-effective compared to rubber - Shorter production process due to the absence of a vulcanization step - Alternative to rubber - Recyclable - Environmentally friendly material - Easy to color *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
